DeskJet 3835. 
There is a problem with the scanner option.  I like to scan multiple documents using the ADF. But when I insert for example 3 Documents into the feeder, and on the computer I click on scan(using “HP printer assistant” program), the 3 documents are going nicely true the scanner one by one, only now on the computer it’s saving/showing only the first scanned document. Not the second and third document.


Maybe it’s just a setting on the computer but I can’t find it. 

can u please assist.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

To add more pages to your scan, click the Add pages icon on the bottom bar, load more pages into the document feeder, and then click Scan.

Hi,

 

That is not the solution. 
When I load multiple documents into the feeder, for example 3. 
Then all the 3 documents are going through the scanner. But only the first one is visible on the computer. So the computer thinks it has scanned only one document. But it scannend 3! 

So in this case I need to take the 2 other NOT scanned documents out underneath the feeder, put it back in the feeder again, press the + icon, scan the 2 documents. But again only the first page is scannend. Need to take the last document out underneath the feeder again, press the + icon, scan the last 1. 

this is not how it need to be, normally I add 3

documents and all 3 documents are scanned at one movement. 

But when I put 3 documents into the feeder and Hit the button Copie, now the 3 documents are copied in One movement and creating 3 documents.

 

Please assist.

Hi,

Please click the Start icon and select Settings (the Gear icon), then select Apps,

Type HP into the "Search This List" bar and uninstall the HP Deskjet 3830 Basic Device Software.

 

Next, download and reinstall the printer using the software below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/DJ3830/DJ3830_Full_WebPack_35.0.61.exe

 

May you now see any difference?

How is the printer connected to your PC? via USB or wirelessly?

 

Please open the HP Scan software, right-click the Save as PDF shortcut and Restore the Default Settings for the scan shortcut, then check for any difference.

 

If the same persists go to Start > Settings > Addps and search for HP.

Click the Basic Device Software option once and please let me know what exact version number is listed for the installed version, you will see the version number next to the listed installation date.
