Add different printer to HP Solution Center

My OfficePro 6968 is wireless, but I have hard wired it into my PC. However, my "HP Solution Center" only recognizes my old Deskjet F4435 which is disconnected. Obviously this impacts scanning, updates, etc. No I do not have the CD that probably came with the printer (bought this from a friend at an estate sale). So how can I update the HP solution center? OR how do I scan stuff without using the Solution center?

HP Solution Center is an old product. New printers now use HP Printer Assistant. Please download and install the following HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 All-in-One series Full Feature Software and Drivers:

   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/oj6960/OJ6960_Full_WebPack_40.11.1150.exe

Note: All 696x printers use same software and drivers

THANKS! I installed this software. But there is nothing similar "HP help center" I would click on for special services (like scanning)? How would I indicate where a scan destination should be, for example? Thanks Robert

In other words, I downloaded and ran the set up twice for my Office Pro 6968 printer, but there is nothing like an "HP Printer Assistant" icon or app on my computer desktop.  Please advise,
