8620 printer
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Our internet network was reset.  When I went to our 8620 to reset the network to factory settings so I could set

up the new network. It shows a "admin lockout, or by third party".  Please advise how to reset so we can reconnect

to the new network.  Thank you.

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I understand that you have an HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer and are unable to restore the network defaults. There's a message stating "admin lockout, or by third party".  Not worry, I'll do my best to help you.

I suggest you to reset the printer to its original settings. This will completely restore the printer to its factory settings. I have sent you a private message with the steps to reset the printer.

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Keep me posted. Good luck! 🙂
