HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One Printer - H711n

I have tried everything I can find to troubleshoot this issue. Since I installed Windows 11 on my HP Envy Touchsmart, I can no longer scan. I can print just fine, and the PC sees the IP address of the printer. I have removed and re-installed the printer, the driver, installed the HP Smart app, power-cycled the printer (including unplugging it for several minutes) and restarting my PC, ran diagnostics - to no avail. The error I'm getting is "Scanner is busy" or "Scanner in use". Also, the HP Print and Scan Doctor flagged 'Driver Check' but HP also says I have the most recent drivers, and it indicates a scan error but doesn't say what it is, so I'm stumped.
