Why does my hp smart app says "feature unavailable" when I try to do printer scan on my Samsung phone but not works on iPhone

 can somebody help provide solution to this

The "Feature Unavailable" message in the HP Smart app indicates that the scanning feature is not supported by the selected printer or that there's a compatibility issue with your Samsung phone.

Printer Compatibility

• The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw supports scanning, but certain mobile devices may have limitations.
• The iPhone may be using Apple's built-in AirPrint features, while Samsung (Android) relies on HP Smart's full functionality.

HP Smart App Issues (Android vs. iOS)

• Ensure the HP Smart app is updated on your Samsung phone.
• Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app to refresh settings.

Permissions Issue (Android-Specific)

• Go to Settings > Apps > HP Smart > Permissions and enable all necessary permissions (Camera, Storage, Network, etc.).

Printer Connection Type

• Ensure the printer is connected via Wi-Fi and not USB (USB might work with iPhone but not with HP Smart on Android).
• Try forgetting the printer and re-adding it in HP Smart.

Try Scanning via Web Interface

• Open a browser on your Samsung phone.
• Type the printer’s IP address (find it in printer settings).
• Look for WebScan under Scan settings and try scanning from there.

Check HP Smart Features on Android

• Some HP printers support different features on Android and iOS. You can check HP official website to confirm.
