We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

My  (ADF) Automatic Document Feeder does not seem to be grabbing the documents for scanning or copying. I have went through the cleaning of the rollers with bottled water and lint free cloths. I have unplugged the printer and waited 30 seconds and plugged back in. I have tried different paper stock. I've tried one sheet at a time. Nothing seesm to work.

 

Please advise.

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums After reading your post I see that your printer ADF does not pick up the paper. I will be a delight to assist you here.

Superb analysis and brilliant diagnosis of the issue before posting. 🙂  Kudos to you on that score.:)

 

As you have already tried these steps and still having the issue, I would personally suggest you contact our HP phone support for further assistance. If your product is Out of warranty then remember to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.

 

They might have multiple options to help you on this.

 

Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.

They will be happy to assist you immediately.

I was informed that I needed to purchase a new printer because warranty was expired. Very disappointing.  This ADF has never worked, and it's my bad that I didn't try it before now. 

FYI, this printer actually was a replacement for the first one that didn't work and was shipped to me less than a year ago, I believe on the 17th of April, 2017. I feel the warranty is still in effect and sent a warranty validation form in with the proof I have. I guess I should have re-registered this replacement.

I have escalated your concern to HP's Support Team in your region to have it reviewed for available options if any. 

 

You should be contacted within 4 business days (Excluding Holidays & Weekends).
