HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I had my OfficeJet Pro 7740 set to automatically install firmware updates. It recently did the 2502B update and ever since, it has been scanning like this. Everything else works, no error messages, no other indication of an issue. I have researched it and it appears the solution is to downgrade to an older firmware, but...

I have:

1 - restarted it multiple times

2 - left it unplugged over the weekend

3 - restored it to factory defaults

4 - went into the service menu (back arrow 4 times) and restored to factory defaults

5 - A - unplugged the network cable went into the service menu and turned off network connections

      B - copied 2246A to a USB drive

C - plugged it in and downgraded the firmware - issue still existed

6 - copied the newest firmware 2502B to the USB drive and updated it back to that one - issue still exists!
