Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using HP Laserjet Pro MFP M428fdw: Used for 3 years- just started with a black line in middle of scanned page when using document feeder only.  scan glass is fine.

This model uses a mylar strip over the scan glass to ensure that paper flows properly. Scratches on this mylar can result in lines. I have also had cases where dirt gets under the mylar. Part number for a replacement mylar is B3Q10-00060
