Hi @JIMMY413,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To change the subject line when scanning to email on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9019, you’ll typically need to adjust the settings in the HP Smart app or through the printer’s web interface. Here’s how you can do that:

Using HP Smart App

  1. Open HP Smart: Launch the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Select Your Printer: Click on your OfficeJet Pro 9019.
  3. Go to Scan Settings: Look for the scanning option and select it.
  4. Email Settings: Find the settings related to emailing scanned documents.
  5. Change Subject Line: If there's an option to customize the subject line, you can enter your name or preferred text here.
  6. Save Changes: Ensure you save any changes before exiting the app.

Using the Printer’s Web Interface

  1. Access the Printer Web Interface: Enter the printer’s IP address into a web browser to access the settings. You can find the IP address on the printer’s display under network settings.
  2. Login: If prompted, log in with the admin credentials (default is often just "admin" for the username and the printer's serial number for the password).
  3. Email Settings: Navigate to the email settings section.
  4. Edit Subject Line: Look for an option to set the subject line for emails and change it to your name.
  5. Save Changes: Be sure to save any modifications.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
