"Damaged" is likely bad.

"Damaged" does not sound like software or a drop of the wireless connection.

We could at least offer some ideas for broken software or a drop of the wireless connection to the router.

"Contact HP Support" would have been a viable option within the first year after you purchased the printer and it was still in Warranty.  HP will not accept a case for a printer that is several years old, even if you claim to have treated the printer like a princess all this time.  Sure, there could be exceptions - fire, explosions, infestations by actual gremlins...

What to do?

Not sure...

You could try unplugging the printer (while still on).

Leave the printer sit for a while (ten minutes?)

While the printer is unplugged, Restart the other devices on your network, including your router.

Plug the printer into a standard, electrically safe, wall outlet.

Will that work?

Maybe, though again, "Damaged" seems a dire message to see on any printer screen.

Sounds like broken hardware.

If you love your printer, consider taking it to a local repair tech to have it looked at.
