Can not scan dual sided automatically

Hello! 

I bought this scanner the other day (HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426dw) and it all works fine when it comes to printing and partly scanning. However, I want to remember that there should be an option to scan dual pages automatically? Now I need to do it manually by flipping the papers around and run them again... 

The option for dual scan automatically does not appear on my HP scan app for the scanner. Are there any other settings apart from the app that needs to be done?

Adding a picture here of the software, it's in Swedish, but it's just to show what I'm looking at.

The Scanner ADF do not support 2 sided as per specs:

However, these resources will show you how to scan 2 sides (you need to reload the document to scan the snd side):

Thanks for the fast response! I have some further questions that I just want to eliminate:) 

This current problem occurred when I was installing a printer for my costumer. The customer had the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw before and claims that it had the dual page scanning function. After I read the specs of the printer, I see that "Duplex ADF scanning" is not available. There is no possible way to enable Duplex ADF scanning on these printers, right? I guess it's a matter of hardware inside the printer and not only a software issue?

Hi @eric229 

As per specs, ADF Duplex is not available.  The ADF needs to be able to support that, so yes, it's hardware.

However, you can still scan 2 sided, except that it's manual.  The software will arrange the pages correctly as shown in the resource.
