Hi, 

I can't scan a doc to my computer in pdf format. it always resulted a white blank page.
However, if i used save to JPEG, it works properly as well as if I scan from my laptop desktop and save to pdf it also works properly. So, the issue only happen when I scan from the printer and choose save to pdf format.

 

additional info, my macOS is Ventura 13

can someone help me to solve this issue?

If the copy page is completely blank, it is an issue with the scanner and the printer needs to be serviced. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

Maybe you can rely on a dedicated PDF scanner like SwifDoo PDF in your case and see if the issue still persists.

well actually it's only happened if I am scanning using the scan selection from the printer and save to my laptop or if I am using HP utility app from my Mac, after get the scanning result and I choose save the result in pdf format.

 

When I scan using jpec format, it works properly. or if I open "system preference - printer & scanner - choose the printer - open scanner - start the scanning process from there, it can produce a pdf result properly.

 

So i don't think it is the printer because it still worked when in jpeg format or using a different way (not Scan to My Computer or scan from HP Utility app in my Mac). I think it is related to the HP Utility app that not set up properly (which I don't know how to set it up).
