I'm using the HP Smart App that I've already downloaded but when I click on Mobile Fax, it acts like I don't have the HP Smart App and wants me to start from scratch to download it again.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing difficulties to use Mobile Fax in HP Smart App. I would request you to please follow the below steps in order to get it fixed.

 

Update the HP Smart App:

  • Ensure that you have the latest version of the HP Smart App installed on your device. Visit the app store on your device to download any available updates.

Re-login to the HP Smart App:

  • Log out of the HP Smart App and then log back in. This can help refresh your app session and resolve any glitches.

Check Permissions:

  • Make sure that the HP Smart App has the necessary permissions on your device. This includes access to files, storage, and network capabilities.

Reinstall the HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the app from your device and then reinstall it. This process can help clear any cached data or settings that might be causing the issue.

Network Connection:

  • Verify that your device is connected to a stable and reliable internet connection to ensure proper communication with HP’s services.

Clear App Cache (if available):

  • For devices that support app cache clearing, go to your device's settings, navigate to the app settings for HP Smart, and clear the cache.

Access HP Mobile Fax Via Web:

  • If the app continues to malfunction, try using the HP Mobile Fax feature through a web browser by going to the HP account management site and logging in with your HP Smart credentials.
