Hi there,

 

I don't seem to be able to download the scan to email app to my Officejet 4650. Is the problem that the printer is incompatible with this app? Other apps seem to work OK but I really want to be able to scan and then email the file directly from the printer rather than using another device.

 

Grateful for any advice.

Hi,

The Scan to Email app is incompatible with your printer indeed.

 

The Scan to Email app can only be added from HPConnected to printers with a full color touch screen, not to printer with a monochrome screen such as the Officejet 4650.

Thanks for using the HP Forums.  Apologies for jumping in.

 

Have you installed the FULL feature for your printer?

 

If you have not, can you download and install the FULL feature software?

Once you have installed the FULL feature software, follow this relevant resource to setup the feature:
