Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was under the impression that my new HP Tango (not Tango X) could actually scan, but it appears to not be able to. Although it says it right on the front of the box.

 

Is it only the Tango X that can scan?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

It's actually a digital scan - using the phone camera.  (for both Tango and Tango X)

 

Tango X just comes with an additional Wrap for the printer.

Thanks for your response, but if I can take a picture via my phone anyway and email that picture from there, what good is a scanner on a printer?

what good is a scanner on a printer?

With the phone camera, it allows the function of Copy - scan and print.

 

HP Smart has other features - like Mobile fax.
