Product: Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello forum, can the M477fdw legal (8.5 x 14) copy/scan on the glass/flatbed? Does 8.5 x 14 fit on the glass/flatbed and copy/scan? Does the document feed scan/copy at 600 DPI?

Hi,

 

As above but for normal documents, 300dpi is good. We normallt won't scan photos using ADF.

Hi,

 

From its specs:

 

Scanner type

  • Flatbed, ADF

Scan resolution, optical

  • Up to 1200 x 1200 dpi

Scan size (flatbed), maximum

  • 216 x 297 mm

Scan size (ADF), maximum

  • 216 x 356 mm

Scan size ADF (minimum)

  • 102 x 152 mm

 

From the above numbers, the glass won't fit legal size of originals, you have to use ADF.
