Product: OfficeJet 250 Mobile all-in-one
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I upgraded my Mac OS to Big Sur and now I cannot scan TO my computer from the OfficeJet250. The printer/scanner no longer lists my computer. I can scan from my computer using Mac's Image Capture or through the HP url using my ISP. I notice that I do not have HP Utility in my apps. 

 

Is there an incompatibility with the OfficeJet250 and Big Sur? How can I use the scanner's touch pad to scan TO my computer...In other words, how can I get the scanner to list my computer on the scanner touch screen?

Hi,

follow HP Easy Start below by selecting your printer and complete the installation process, once completing the HP Easy Scab and HP Essential Software installation for the printer, HP Utility would be installed and scan to computer would be enabled:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

Easy Start download defaults to HP Smart, which I already had downloaded. In the SCAN tab, scan to computer is only enabled through webscan, not from the OfficeJet 250 screen display. The 250 does not list my computer anymore .

Alternatively, when I select Advanced Settings > Administrator Settings> there is no option to scan TO a computer. Any other suggestions?

I cannot scan TO computer from the OfficeJet250 touchscreen. I have downloaded the software using the link provided but it reverts to HP Smart which is what I already have installed.

Please follow HP Easy Start again, when being prompt to install HP Smart close this window, you should be provided with additional installation options then.
