Hi @Gules,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

To address the issue of not being able to scan to your laptop, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

Check Connections:

  • Ensure that the connection between the printer and laptop is secure. If you are using a USB connection, try unplugging and re-plugging the cable.
  • If you are using a network connection, make sure that both the printer and laptop are on the same network.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your printer and laptop. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Check for Print Queue:

  • Open the print queue on your laptop to see if there are any jobs that are pending or stuck. Cancel any stuck jobs and try scanning again.

Update Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your printer installed on your laptop. You can visit the Official HP® Support to download and install the latest drivers.

Check for Software Issues:

  • Make sure that any scanning software you are using is up to date. You might try reinstalling the software to see if this resolves the problem.

Scan to Network Folder:

  • As an alternative, you can try scanning to a network folder. This can bypass some connection issues that prevent direct scanning to the laptop.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
