Hi  @Davem72,

Thanks for your feedback.

We were told the server issues were resolved, can you try again to see if you are able to scan to email?

Were you able to "test" successfully once you setup the Scan to Email?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.  We understand that the Scan to Email is not working, we have informed the relevant team to look into this.

Hopefully, it should be resolved soon.

In the meantime, one suggestion is to Scan as a jpeg or document and attach it to the email.

If you need help on scanning as a jpeg or document, the following relevant resource would be useful:

Scanning for Dummies

Hope that helps!

All the options for my printer work fine, except the scanning feature. I add my email log in with my password. Then it says "cannot connect to web services, the printer is connected and all other apps work including e print. I tried following other threads related to the same issues others have had with no luck. Any suggestions ?

tried to schan to e-amil with my ho photosmart 7520 and am getting the "unable to connect to web services" connection error.  I have tried the steps listed on the forums page about turning off and on the router, and have re installed the printer from CD. Help Please.

I am wirelessly connected to my 7520 Photosmart printer and printing is working, but web services won't enable.  I have tried several of the suggestions, ran the scan doctor and just get an error for web services.  I know the internet connection is good since the printer is working and the wireless light is lit -

I am also having issues with scanning. I can not scan to email or scan to thumbdrive using the machine's face plate. When I attempt scan to email it gives me the web services error. When I attempt to scan to thumbdrive, it just says it can't scan.

I have noticed, however, that it will scan using the HP Scan software installed on my computer.

Hi @niquey,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

For the Scan to Thumbdrive, can you format your thumbdrive toe Fat 32 format and try again?

Let us know if that works.
