We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

HP Officejet Pro 9020 faxing software running in a Windows 7 64 bit environment.

Problem:  I cannot fax from the PC even though the fax test shows passed in all categories.

I CAN fax directly from the printer by selecting the fax icon, keying in the phone number, and scanning the pages automatically once the number answers. 

 

What is the disconnect when trying to fax from the PC?  The result message is always "PC disconnected" and when sending the fax I get a message "Printer busy" for a short time, then returns to "processing".

Turn of Error Correction mode to fix this issue:-

1. From the printer control panel display, touch Fax .

2. Touch Setup .

3. Touch Preferences .

4. Scroll to Error Correction Mode to touch and turn it off.
