I need to delete email addresses from the "Scan to Email" app, however, I do not have the pin numbers and I no longer have access to the email addresses.  I have tried everything to remove the addresses, and nothing has worked.  I have "Removed Web Services" multiple times both through the printer and also by looking up the IP address in a web browser.  I have also restored the printer to factory settings numerous times both through the printer and also by looking up the IP address in a web browser.  Nothing has worked.

I am beyond frustrated with this and in complete shock that HP would have such a horrible process to complete such a simple task.  PLEASE help me.

  • Firmware Update: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve issues with the printer's functionality.
  • Manual Reset: Try performing a manual reset of the printer. This might involve pressing certain buttons on the printer's control panel in a specific sequence. Check your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

 

If none of these steps work, it could be a more complex issue with the printer itself.

Hello,

The printer has the latest firmware updated already.

Are you able to provide the manual reset you're referring to?

I tried doing a manual semi-full reset and that didn't work either.
