Hello brain trust!  I am unable to update my driver for my scanner.  When I run the latest driver download from HP, the exe file loads and I see a command prompt window come up for a fraction of a second.  But then that's as far as it goes.  Running in admin mode does not help.  I am stumped.  Hoping someone has seen this before and know the secret fix.  Cheers!

Use 7zip software to unzip exe file then you will probably have .dll file and update drivers manually using option Have disk and selecting .dll.

Appreciating your suggestion.  The driver update from HP includes the EXE file and a BIN file.  Using 7-Zip to look inside them both.  The EXE file has no DLLs in it and the BIN file has dozens and dozens of folders.  No readily apparent DLL there.  Not sure what do try next.  Open to any suggestions.
