I updated to the new HP Smart App on 20.10.26, but it has changed the destination folder from 'My Scans' to 'My Docs', both folders are on my PC? Printer is a HP Envy Photo 7134

Hi @toneloc0_0
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand the concern. After updating to the new HP App, it can be unexpected to see scanned files being saved to Documents instead of the familiar My Scans folder on your PC.
For your HP ENVY Photo 7134, please try the following to change the scan destination folder:
- Open the HP App.
- Select Scan.
- Click the Settings or Preferences option within the scan window.
- Look for Save Location, Destination Folder, or Save To.
- Browse to and select your preferred My Scans folder.
- Save the change and perform a test scan to confirm the new location is retained.
If the HP App does not provide a save-location setting:
- Open Documents on your PC.
- Check whether a new HP scan folder was created during the update.
- Perform a test scan and note the exact folder where the file is saved.
- In the HP App, verify whether there is an option for Remember last save location or Ask where to save before scanning and enable it if available.
It would also be helpful to know:
- Are you using the HP App on Windows 10 or Windows 11?
- When you scan, does the file save automatically to Documents, or does the app prompt you to choose a location each time?
This information will help us provide the most accurate guidance for your specific HP App configuration.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
