Product: Officejet Pro 8620
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My 8620 is connected to my desktop via a wireless connection.  Scanning function works well,  but I have been unable to change the order of the pages once they are scanned.

I try to "grab" the page I want to move and place it where I want it,  but it will not grab;  it simply highlights the page I am trying to move over as I move across it.

I have turned off both the printer and the computer,  and I have reinstalled the software, but this has not resolved the issue.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank You!

Scanning issues…

 

Please try this scan solution:

 

HP Scan Extended


For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi


Once downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

 

Check all your settings and expand all tabs and all + signs to see all options that available.

NAPS2 also allows you to:

 

  1. Maximize and resize the scanning screen on your computer.
  2. Scan over 300 ppi from the Glass or ADF.
  3. Save multiple pages (over 300 ppi) to one PDF file.

Thank you for your reply.  I did the steps as outlined,  but am still not able to change the order of the scanned pages.

I just scanned a 3 page document from the ADF at 300 PPI and was able to drag any page to any position just fine.
