Change the save location folder

I replaced a hard drive and now I cant change wherer my scans are saved to. How do i change the default folder to save my scans?

If you have replaced your hard drive and now need to change the default folder where your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer saves scans, follow these steps:

Install the Full Feature HP Driver Package:

• Make sure the full feature HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 software package is installed on the computer. You can download it from the HP Software and Driver Downloads.

Open HP Scan Software:

• Double-click the HP Scanning icon on your desktop. If the icon isn't there, find it in your Start menu.

Change Scan Settings:

• Click the Options menu.
• Select Button Settings or Scan Shortcuts.
• Here, you can change the save location.
• Select Edit or Save To Folder and specify the new folder path.
• Click Save or OK to confirm the changes.

Additional Information:

You can also manage and edit scanning preferences by accessing the settings directly from the HP Smart app, available for both Windows and macOS. This app provides comprehensive features to manage scans and printer settings.
