I am trying to scan to my Mac from my HP Envy 4520. When I click the ePrint button on the display, it says "connecting" for a short period of time and returns back to the home screen. When I go into Web Services settings, it says ePrint is on. I then clicked on "print info page" to get my code and it says "downloading from the internet...review the page for important information" and then goes back to the web services page. When I try to display my printer's email address, it just says "connecting" forever and never stops. How can I get this set up so I can scan to my computer?

I understand you are trying to scan to your mac.

 

I understand you want to scan to the computer from the printer, but are you able to scan from the computer? Is scan to computer-enabled on your computer?

 

Download the HP Utility for Mac from here.

 

Try following the steps below-

 

Open the HP Utility Folder and go to Scan to Computer

Scan to Computer lets you start at the front panel of your HP device, and automatically 
send the output to your computer. 
Enable Scan to Computer 
Scan to Computer is Enabled 
Your computer name is "SOMEs-Mac-mini". When you start a sean from your HP device you 
may be prompted to select your computer from a list of Scan Computer-enabled host 
computers.

Try Scanning.
