Collating on HP Smart Tank 5101

I'm trying to collate 10 documents and print 10 copies.  How do I do that on this printer?

Depending on the size and complexity of the documents, the printer might not handle all ten documents and ten copies.

The printer hardware has only a modicum of memory --

Should you throw too much data at the printer at one time, the memory might be overwhelmed.

If the job collapses midway through, there is no "recovery" - Pieces of the job will not be saved.

Simple print procedure is not all that complicated, though again - there is added complexity for two-sided documents.

What?

The printer does not support automatic 2-sided printing.

Whether you can automate any of the steps to print, collate, manage more than one document would at least partly depend on the documents (content, type) and the number of pages in each document.

You might be able to come up with a load, print, flip, print formulae.

I'm also not sure whether you can incorporate a "Separator Page" -- it might make things worse - or it might integrate as you expect and provide a means to tell which document is what after print.

Printer - Full Feature Software

HP Full Feature Software / Full Driver printer software - supports printing and scanning from the web, printing in in other software and programs (for example, Word), and provides access to the full range of Printing Preferences / Shortcuts.  The full driver generally adds at one, possibly least one, possibly two shortcuts to the Desktop: Printer Assistant, HP Scan Assistant, and/or HP Scan.

NOTES:  

HP Scan is not installed if the printer does not support Scan.

The Printer Assistant is not installed if the type of full driver software does not support it.  If the printer model includes built-in Fax hardware, the software supports the setup and use of the Fax driver. No Sign-in required.

Reinstalling?

• Uninstall existing full driver printer software from Programs and Features.
• If your printer includes a separate "help" in Programs and Features, uninstall that, too.
• Restart the computer and log in.
• If the printer is connected to the computer using a printer USB cable, remove / disconnect the cable before loading the software.

If asked, opt for the Full Driver to be installed.

• When installed, HP Universal Scan software adds a separate self-named “HP Scan” shortcut

Thank you for your answer!  I found this particular printer doesn't meet my needs.  I'm returning it and have purchased an HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e.
