Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8124e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Chrome OS

I have purchased an HP OfficeJet Pro 8120e All-in-One printer and want to be able to scan documents directly to an email address.

 

I have managed to scan to email by creating a shortcut in the HP Smart app, but I would prefer to be able to do this by setting up an email server via EWS.

 

Although I have created a working email server through EWS, the only scan option available seems to be Webscan. I am therefore wondering if I am doing something wrong or if the printer simply does not have the function I am looking for?

In looking at the user guide, it does not show any scan to email settings so based on that I would say the feature is not supported. https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_7650053_en-US-1.pdf
