I can not make scanning to network folder work.

I have tried to follow instructions but no success.

Perhaps I do not get how the network path should be given in the setup.

Should it be the full path like \\LAPTOP\Users\Pelle\Documents\Scanned or should it be \\LAPTOP\Scanned or something else.

I created a folder under Documents and named it Scanned. I shared it and gave full access to All.

When I try I get e message like: No success, Try again. I get it in Swedish because my Windows is in Swedish. (Testet misslyckades. Försök igen)

I have also tried to use the PCs IP-address but that is not a good solution because  it can be changed from time to time.

Do I need to enter Username and password for my Windows?

Can anyone help me out of this, please.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help.

Try renaming the folder to just "Scan".

The network path should be <\\computer IP address\Shared folder name>

Verify that the Current Printer Time is set to the GMT equivalent of the current time on the Windows client. Open the printer's EWS page, Settings>Preferences> Date&Time.

These printers do not support time zones. For the printer to be able to log into a shared folder, the GMT date and time on the printer must match up with the local time on the Windows client.

Let me know if this helps.

Does it work when you use the IP address? If yes then there is an issue with DNS settings on your network. The bullet proof solution is to configure your router so that a static IP address is assigned to your computer and then it will never change.

I have not been able to test your solution. This is not a printer in my home network, it is at a small bussiness where I have not been for some weeks. I will try soon. Thanks.
