Hi @BaryBazz,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, you can copy both sides of a two-sided document onto a single-sided sheet using the HP Smart Tank 7605. Here’s how you can do it:

Copying Two-Sided Document to One-Sided Document

Prepare the Document:

  • Place the Document: Place the two-sided document you want to copy on the scanner glass. Make sure it is aligned correctly according to the markings on the glass.

Access Copy Settings:

  • Open Copy Settings: On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the copy settings. You might need to select the “Copy” option from the main menu.

Select Two-Sided Copying:

  • Choose the Two-Sided Option: Look for an option that allows you to copy two-sided documents. This is usually labeled as “2-sided” or “Duplex Copy.”
  • Select One-Sided Output: Choose the option to copy the two-sided document onto a one-sided sheet. This option might be labeled as “One-Sided” or similar.

Start the Copy Process:

  • Start Copying: Press the “Start” or “Copy” button to begin the copying process. The printer will scan both sides of the document and print it onto a single-sided sheet.

Review the Output:

  • Check the Copy: Once the copying is complete, review the output to ensure both sides have been combined onto one side of the paper. Some printers may reduce the content to fit it onto a single page.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi Rachel,

Unfortunately your solution does not work on the SmartTank 7605. The only options under copy , sides , are 1-1 sided and 1-2 sided. There is no option for 2 sided or duplex.

Can you advise further.
