Problem is with a first time setup for a new Envy 4527. Everything seems to be working except the copy function. The copy icon on the printer's screen is non-responsive to touch (e.g. it does not move to the next screen to allow us to enter number of copies. There are no error messages.
We had other problems during setup. When we opend the HP app on the computer we could access the printer functions (and print) but could not enter the scanner functions. We ran the doctor, which advised us to download the entire printer files rather than just the HP recommended files. This solved this problem, however copy is still not working. Appreciate your assistance.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that the copy icon is not working on the printer display.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware
