I believe that my touchscreen is kaput -- completely unresponsive. Is there some way to make copies without using the touchscreen?

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums. Have you tried powering off and powering on the printer to confirm that the Control panel is spoilt?
If it is indeed spoilt. you can still copy, though it is a workaround using the HP Software to scan and then print.
First, you need to ensure that your FULL feature software is installed as you will need to "Scan" the document (or image).
Once the document (or image) is scanned and saved as a file, open the PDF/JPEG (if it's a document/image respectively) and print.
Hope that helps!

Kudos for your promptness. I had already tried a cumbersome workaround along the lines you suggested (scan to file and then print), but I was hoping there was something less indirect. Your advice was not without value, though. I am now assured that there is not aa less clumsy way of doing it.
