Deskjet 2734e and would like to scan just a portion of a photo, how to adjust scan area

I have a Deskjet 2734e. I would like to scan just a portion of a photo and can't find where to adjust scan area. Every other printer has had this option with arrows to adjust size and area, but not finding it. Please advise. thanks

Here are a couple of options...

HP Smart

Scan and change the boundary right after the scan

OR

You can scan the content, open the scanned data for edit > Crop, Adjust, Filters, or Text

Crop options include manual and preset shapes.

HP Scan and Capture

If you have the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software installed,

Install and use the HP Scan and Capture app to scan and crop the content.

Details and Examples...

HP Smart – Windows – Photo Scan / Edits

Scan Photo content OR Import Saved Photo File

Edit the content > Done > Select next option(s)

Open HP Smart

Select Scan > Set Presets to Photo

Adjust the settings on the main scan menu > Scan

After the content is scanned, verify / adjust the content boundary (Full)

Select the Next Option(s) > Print, Save, Share, Shortcuts, or Mobile Fax)

OR

Optional >> Select to Edit the scanned content ( … )

Select the edit type > Crop, Adjust, Filters, or Text

Complete the edits

Click Done

Select the Next Option(s) > Print, Save, Share, Shortcuts, or Mobile Fax)

Example – HP Smart – Windows – Photo > Scan > Edit set

Open HP Scan and Capture app

Select the Scan Type

Select the Page Size (to capture the exact size or entire field)

Scan

Tap on the scanned item

Tap on Crop

Adjust the boundary

Select to Save or Cancel

Example – HP Scan and Capture > Scan > Tap Crop > Adjust boundary

 Description

HP Scan and Capture is a simple and fun application that captures photos or documents from any* HP scanning device or your computer's built-in camera.  These images can be previewed, edited, saved, and shared to other applications.

* NOTE:  The correct HP drivers for your scanner must be installed from HP's Support Website.

HP Scan and Capture features an adjustable screen size.

Scroll / Search for HP Scan and Capture

Left-click on the App for options associated with this app.

If available, Click Advanced for additional controls.
