macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Hi all,

I am trying to scan a document using my deskjet 3632. Every time I try I get a message saying there is a scan error and I should restart the printer. I have done this and the error repeats. I have tried contacting HPs help centre but there is no generic remedy availbale and as I use a Mac I can't use the scan and print doctor software to diagnose/rectify. If anyone can suggest a solution I'd be most grateful.

Are you able to copy? What app are you using to scan?

 

Ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:
