Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had this printer for many years and it has served me well. Recently it stopped scanning. When I click onto HP Solution Centre it comes up with this

I have tried the Print and Scan doctor and get this

but I cannot start the Solution centre because I get the first picture??

What has happened?

I note that my pictures are not coming up in my question as I see them on my computer.

The 2nd picture says there is a problem with the printer Front Panel Scan settings. But I can no longer open the Solution centre.

I have tried all the unplug, restart, uninstall and nothing works to get my scanning working again. Printer works fine.
