Hello everyone,

I got myself the deskjet 3750 a couple of months ago due to it's size. However, I'm really struggling with the WIFI only option and missing control panel. When I bought it, I did the whole set-up and it worked fine after I've spend the whole weekend trouble-shooting different problems. As I didn't want to waste energy and leave it on stand-by I've unplugged the printer and left it until the next use.

 

Yesterday I needed to scan a document and the printer wouldn't work anymore. I've done resets, cut the wireless connection, reinstalled the wireless option and printer driver. Finally I've gotten the printer to print and copy but the scanner won't work. It pulls in the page until like a quarter is left and then send the error message "Scanner issue- A problem with the scanner has been detected. Restart the printer, and then try again. If the problem persists visit the HP Support website."

 

Alignment of the page won't work as the printer has a password that hasn't been set from my side. The usual "Admin" and "blank" passwords won't work either. I've bought a brand new product from an official dealer.  Restarted multiple times, went through all the relevant pages on the support website and even used that hopeless virtual assistant. But I can't fix the problem myself. I'm using a Mac Big. Sur operating software.

 

Any thoughts from a helpful user on the board on how I can get the problem fixed? Thank you so much for your help!

I'd like to help!

 

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

 

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
