Product: MacBook Air
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am having great difficulty finding the network path for my network folder. I have the folder created, I am just not finding what I need to place in the network folder bar for the two to link up. This all occurred because my IP address was changed. I had the network folder linked and now I am having trouble reconnecting the network connection. Thank you in advance.

It depends a bit on your network environment.

 

\\(ip address of Macintosh)\(Shared folder name) or \\(fully  qualified domain name of Macintosh)\(Shared folder name)

ex) \\192.168.1.2\shared_folder or \\computername.local\shared_folder

 

In the File Sharing Preferences it will show an example of where windows file shares are available.
