Need help with digital fax setup, specifically the smtp server information. We use Microsoft Office 365. What is the server name, port, and is authentication required. I tried smtp.office365.com, port 465, with and without authentification. I also tried using smtp.domain_name.com. Neither of these work. The error message is that the printer is unable to connect to the remote destination, and (helpfully) to check my confituration. Many thanks!

Hi,
Please use below details:
Server: smtp.office365.com
Port: 587
Encryption: STARTTLS Checked
Authentication: Checked
Username: your full email
Password: your email's password.
Apply the changes and press on Save & Test, if you get an authentication or connection failures follow the steps below accordingly, if you experience any other error please clarify the exact results..
If you still get a connection error, open the Network tab and select your active connection, then click on IPv4.
Set a Manual DNS Address and save the changes:
8.8.8.8 as the Primirary address
8.8.4.4 as the Secondary Address
Click Apply to confirm, go back to the digital fax wizard and check for any difference.
If you experience any login or authentication failure I would also suggest trying and creating an App Specific Password and use it instead your personal password:
Shlomi
Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.
If my post resolve your problem please mark it as an Accepted Solution 🙂
