HP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Set up the printer and can scan to a network folder, but have no requirement for a PIN to do so.

Have been to Settings, Admin, Product Security, and selected NO security but when scanning to network folder after doing this still get asked to input a PIN.

How do you disable to PIN request in this situation???

Hi,

Open the printer software, under print open the HP Device Toolbox.

Select the Scan tab and locate the Scan to Folder option, then click Edit for the listed profile.

Edit the profile by keeping the same values as are there, but ensure the PIN Code option is blank and follow the steps on screen.

Once you are done press Save and Test to ensure it is set correctly, once verified it will nolonger require a pin code.
