Hi,
I kept 3 imp docs in the ADF and started the scan. two docs were successfully scanned but it stuck at the 3rd paper. the page was taken in properly and is stopped half way in the output.
I tried to pull the paper out but it does not work, the page does not come out. I tried to restart the printer, reset the printer but does not help.
I have also attached the picks

It will soon be almost that hot here. Spring is a short season, and the summer is always rather memorable.
As for the issue, yes you might need to have a local tech take a look at the ADF apparatus and make sure that there isn't any debris that might be lodged in the machine which is causing this. Have you ever had a paper jam that resulted in the jammed paper becoming shredded or torn?
Let me know how that goes and I will get right back with you!

Sounds like you are having a hardware problem with the ADF. Now first, have you removed the power from the printer entirely for thirty seconds and then plugged it back in to see if the issue is resolved by that? Also, read this post and see if any information contained there pertains to you :
After that check to be sure that the printer's firmware is up-to-date :

I hope you are having a wonderful week, and I hope that the weather where you are located is as beautiful there as it is here!

Hi Spencer,
Thanks for the suggestion but it did not help. I tried power drain steps mentioned in first option, but it did not worked. on Startup the printer shows message as "Warming up scanner bulb" but it does not check any jams in ADF and tries to clear it. Also I was not sure of the firmware and I think it was not updated recently so downloaded and installed it (as it is a recent release). But it didn’t help. Again I tried the same power drain steps but no luck as well.
As you have mentioned earlier that the page is stuck in the hardware, does it mean that I will have to call a local technician to help me remove the page?
I am having a good week and hope same for you. But for the weather it is not same here. I am from Ahmedabad, India and the weather here right now is 43 degree Celsius and it is very hot outside.

Kunal

Spencer,
You wouldn't believe, but paper was locked in the ADF. Somehow I was able to get out rest of the page from back side (Image 2 with scanner door opened) and there was one key which had locked the page and does not allow pulling it out.
I pressed that button and I was able to pull the document. I guess today is my luck day.
Thanks for your help. And it's been six years we have purchased this Printer + Scanner but earlier ADF was not used for scanning. After starting the use of ADF we have not had any issues like paper jam. This is the first time paper was jammed in ADF.
Regards,
Kunal
