Hello. I have a Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M281fdw. Whenever I scan anything into the document feeder it will roll and halt. I opened it up and discovered the paper will go into the flat bed glass scanner area instead of the tray meant for scanned papers. Is there anyway to fix the direction or area the paper is going into? I suspect the only reason paper jams is because the paper is being routed to the wrong area.

HP Recommended

There is a mylar strip that goes over the ADF glass and directs paper into the output tray. If this is missing or damaged the paper does not follow the right path.
