Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

The printer scanner is connected via USB but will not scan into software that needs a TWAIN driver. WIA does not work. The software co say I need to get a TWAIN driver from HP

I understand you have issues scanning from your printer.

 

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

 

Did you make any changes to your printer?

 

As you mentioned your printer is connected via USB and needs the TWAIN driver to scan.

 

Try installing the full feature driver on your printer and check if it helps.

 

Please find the link to install full feature driver.

 

If you still have issues after installing the full feature driver.

 

Try installing HP scan and capture app on your PC and check if it helps.

 

Refer this article to know how to use HP scan and capture app.
