Product: HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One Printer - G510g

I need to recycle my HP Officejet 4500 G510g printer.  Does this printer save personal information  such as items I have scanned, files or documents?  If so how do I delete before I recycle it?  The computer it was connected to no longer works and is not compatible with my current computer.  Thank you
