Does the Office Jet Pro 9015 auto save a copy of scanned documents?

We use personal information and do not want the Scanned document to be autosave, or ever saved...

@Need2know7,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

From what I can ascertain, your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is a multifunction printer that is capable of scanning documents. However, it does not have an automatic feature to save a copy of scanned documents by default.

When you scan a document using the OfficeJet Pro 9015, it typically allows you to save the scanned file to a computer or a network folder. The printer's scanning software usually provides options for selecting the destination where you want to save the scanned document. You can choose to save it on your computer's hard drive or a connected USB drive, or you can specify a network folder if your printer is connected to a network.

It's important to note that the specific features and capabilities of the scanning software may vary depending on the operating system and software version you are using. I recommend referring to the user manual or the HP support website for detailed instructions on scanning and saving documents with your particular printer model.

Here are some recommended reminders/printer settings:

It is always possible that information passed through a wireless connection could be intercepted.  It is therefore preferable to hardwire (Ethernet cable) your printer rather than using a Wi-Fi connection:

For additional peace of mind, check & clear the Print Queue regularly:
