Double-sided scan disabled for my Officejet pro 8620 (Mac)

Recently my Officejet Pro 8620 stopped being able to scan documents double-sided (duplex).

I have a MacPro M1 (2020) using HP Easy Scan.

The multi-function printer is connected via cable to the router.

Single sided scan is possible, also via ADF.

However, double-sided (duplex) scan is not possible.

I did some research in the internet and already disabled IPv6.

Also, I did already delete the printer in the macOS printer settings and re-installed the HP Easy Scan Software after re-starting the computer.

Looking forward to receive a solution for this.

I understand you are not able to scan 2-sided documents. Check the settings on the HP Easy Scan app. 

Do you see a 2-sided option?

The printer specification does not mention anything about 2-sided scanning. 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, check for any software updates on Mac

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

Have you tried using the HP Smart app to scan and check if it works?
