I just got the HP 7005 tank printer and wanted to copy a double sided document.
apparently you cannot just scan one side, turn the document over and scan the second side and print onto a single side of paper.
i guess I could scan each side separately into my computer, paste them into a word document and then print that double sided, but has anyone got a better solution?

Imagine the 2 x1-sided document = 1 x 2 sided document

Hi,
Glad to hear that your issue is resolved and all is working well now.
Technically, it's a workaound and not an official method of scanning.
Have a nice day!

I don’t understand why it’s not possible to just allow the user to flip the page over and the printer to just hold the first side in its memory.
my old printer, a 5520e, that was 12 years old could do it.
even the hp apps don’t seem to be able to do it.
i was so annoyed by this, I considered just sending the printer back and buying something else.
