I can't find a way to download scanned documents to my Mac Desktop, or save them anywhere else other than the HP Smart app. Is this possible with the HP Smart app on Mac? I've been doing this for years on Windows, but the App in Mac only gives me the option to save the file in HP Smart, or send it through SMS (above all the other options in the world, why this one?).

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

 

I see that you are facing connectivity issues with HP Printer.

 

I suggest you reinstall the driver and connect the printer to check if that fixes the issue.

 

You can follow the steps under this link to uninstall.

 

Furthermore, you can reinstall using HP Smart App from this link.

This problem started when I updated the HP app on my mac. Is there a work around this. It is seems ridiculous that I can't download the scanned document onto my computer rather than the HP Smart cloud.
