Product: hp Color LaserJet 2840
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have my 2840 connected and functioning for printing but cannot get it recognized as a scanner.
I have Windows Fax and Scan loaded but there is no way to add the scanner. I attempted by additing a device but nothing comes up.

Hi,
is the printer connected via USB or through the network?
Be aware that scanning is only supported via USB and not via a network connection as described below:
