We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended

I use dropbox application and all of a sudden it doesn't want to work.  I log in to the app on the printer select the folder I want it to scan to and when I select to scan it says you have to choose 1 item and it won't scan.  I have tried powering off and unplugging. I have turned off computer router modem,  I have deleted the app and reloaded.  I have created a new folder to send to. I am the only one on our drop box account that is having an issue, however I am the only one that uses this printer.  Any suggestions?

Hi @Teri582026,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the Dropbox application on your printer. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Check Internet Connection

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to a stable internet connection.
  • A poor connection can cause issues with cloud applications like Dropbox.

Printer and App Update

  • Make sure your printer firmware and the Dropbox application are updated to the latest versions.
  • Outdated software can lead to compatibility issues.

Reconnect to Dropbox:

  • Log out of your Dropbox account on the printer.
  • Restart the printer.
  • Log back into your Dropbox account on the printer.

Permissions and Settings

  • Double-check that the app has the necessary permissions to access Dropbox.
  • Sometimes, permissions might need reauthorization.

Clear Cache

  • Clear any saved cache or temporary files related to the Dropbox application on your printer.

Check Dropbox Status

  • Visit Dropbox's status page to ensure there are no ongoing outages or service disruptions.

Take care and have an amazing day!
