So, I downloaded the app on my Chromebook and it works. However, on my phone, the app keeps spinning for the scan feature. Thank you for your help.

Hi,
It is possible to duplex print with your printer, you may select the Two-Sided option within the print dialog.
Duplex scanning is not supported, you may manually scan both sides by reloading the pages and scanning the next pages using the plus sign, then save the scan once finalized:

Hi,
Webscan surely does not support a such, but I believe that from within the Chrome OS scanning you should likely be able to archive manual duplex scanning:

So, here are the options I have. For some reason, the printer printed it on 2 pages. So far, no luck on being able to duplex scan, which is what I am really looking for. I have a number of documents that are 2-sided, and I can't scan them as 1 file.

Please try scanning from the Chrome OS Scan section as listed by the document, not from the EWS page, see the relevant section in the document included in my previous post:
Try scanning and look for a plus sign to scan additional pages once reloading the other side manually.
